Dashboard Walkthrough
The Dashboard is seeshare's central hub for monitoring security across all your domains, giving you an at-a-glance view of your security score, open issues, and active scans. This article walks through each section of the Dashboard and explains how to use it to stay on top of your security posture.
Dashboard Walkthrough
The Dashboard is your central hub for monitoring security across all your domains. It provides an at-a-glance view of your security posture, active scans, and items requiring attention.
Dashboard Sections
Metrics Grid
At the top you'll see key metrics with trend indicators: Total Domains (number of domains you're monitoring), Security Score (your overall security grade across all domains), Open Issues (total unresolved vulnerabilities), and Critical/High Issues (count of the most urgent vulnerabilities requiring immediate attention). Each metric shows a trend arrow indicating whether it's improving or declining compared to the previous period.
Action Center
Quick-action buttons for common tasks including Add Domain, Run Scan, View Issues, and other contextual actions based on your current security state.
Security Trends Chart
A historical chart showing your security posture over time. Use it to track how your security score changes week over week, see vulnerability counts trend up or down, and identify patterns in when new issues appear — for example, after deployments.
Active Scans
Shows any currently running scans, including the domain being scanned, current status and progress, estimated time remaining, and real-time updates as the scan progresses.
Recent Domain Activity
A feed of recent events across your domains, including scan completions, new vulnerabilities discovered, issues resolved, and status changes.
Recent Critical Issues
Highlights the most urgent unresolved vulnerabilities that need your attention, sorted by severity and recency.
Navigation
From the Dashboard you can navigate to any section using the sidebar: Dashboard (return to this overview), Domains (manage your domains and view individual domain details), Issues (view all vulnerabilities across all domains), AI Assistant (get AI-powered security guidance), Settings (manage account, billing, notifications, and preferences), and Help & Support (access documentation and contact support).
Tips
Check the Dashboard daily for a quick security overview. Pay close attention to the Critical Issues section — these need immediate action. Use the Security Trends Chart to track improvement over time and demonstrate security progress to stakeholders.
