Adding Your First Domain
Domains are the websites seeshare.io scans for security vulnerabilities, and each one requires its own subscription tier. This article walks through how to add a domain from the dashboard, how to choose between the Essential and Professional tiers, and how to manage your domains once they're active.
Adding Your First Domain
Domains (also called "targets") are the websites you want seeshare.io to scan for security vulnerabilities. Each domain requires its own subscription tier.
How to Add a Domain
- From the Dashboard, click Add Domain — or go to Domains in the sidebar and click Add Domain
- Enter the full URL of your website (e.g., https://example.com)
- Select a tier: Essential ($49/month) or Professional ($99/month)
- Choose your billing model: Monthly or Annual (annual saves you money)
- If you have a coupon code, enter it before checkout
- Complete payment through Stripe
- Your domain is now active and ready to scan
Choosing the Right Tier
Essential ($49/month per domain) is best for small websites, blogs, and basic WordPress sites. It includes WordPress vulnerability scanning, passive security checks (ZAP passive mode), outdated JavaScript library detection (RetireJS), known CVE scanning (Nuclei), scheduled scans, PDF reports with plain-language explanations, and email support.
Professional ($99/month per domain) is best for business websites, e-commerce, and sites handling sensitive data. It includes everything in Essential, plus active vulnerability testing (XSS and SQL injection via ZAP active mode), network port scanning (Nmap), host-level security scanning (OpenVAS), GDPR and HIPAA compliance checks, deep website crawling, API access for integrations, and priority support.
Sales Accounts
If you're on a Sales plan ($499/month) or Sales Pro plan ($999/month), you manage multiple client domains under a flat monthly fee with a set number of scans per month. See the Sales Accounts documentation for details.
Domain URL Guidelines
Always include the protocol: https://example.com, not just example.com. You can add subdomains as separate targets (e.g., https://app.example.com). The domain must be publicly accessible for scanning to work.
What Happens Next
Once your domain is added, it appears on your Domains page with a status of "Not Scanned." From there you can run your first scan immediately or set up a recurring scan schedule.
Managing Domains
From the Domains page you can search for domains by name, filter by status (All, Active, Needs Attention, Not Scanned), sort by recent activity, alphabetical order, or date added, delete a domain (which cancels its subscription), and view 10 domains per page with pagination.
